Using this tutorial from one of my favorite sewing-related sites, I made my boys their Valentine’s gifts this year – matching tshirts. Well, 1 tshirt and 1 onesie.
These monsters are so cute and so boy but also sport a big red heart, perfect for the day of love. I didn’t do the freezer paper stenciling suggested in the tutorial since I just didn’t have the time. I will also add it was very fun to make the modifications for a mini-shirt for Bryant. Sewing around his monster’s heart was tough and since it was so small and he has puff paint for eyes. (Can you believe I still have puff paint in my crafting supplies!? Hello 1990, it’s me, Allison.).
